New Orleans Block Party 504 is an independent station built around Bounce — the city’s own music, played by the people who grew up on it.
One block, broadcasting out
Bounce was never made for a boardroom. It was made on porches, in project courtyards and at second lines, by people who needed a crowd to move right now. This station exists to play it the way it was meant to be heard — loud, in sequence, with someone on the mic who knows why the record matters.
More than a playlist
Live DJ sets, legendary records, artist interviews and the stories behind them. Six named blocks across the week, from the foundational club cuts through to the artists breaking out of the city this month.
Built with the neighbourhood
The calendar is open to anyone putting something on in the 504 — block parties, tapings, warehouse sets. If you are throwing it, tell us and we will carry it.
